The Musaeus line of cables are our entry-level Ferox dampened cables. Make no mistake, these cables are hand crafted to make your system sing! They are a beautiful example of what Purist Audio Design's engineers and craftsmen can do at a beautiful price point! Musaeus is a fantastically well-rounded cable in terms of highs, mids, and lows! They are extremely quiet cables.
Analog Interconnects
Musaeus analog interconnects are masterfully crafted to exacting standards! They are fashioned using 24 AWG pure copper continuous cast conductors and surrounded by Purist Audio Design's proprietary Ferox® dampening material. Analog interconnects come in a stereo pair, one left cable and one right cable. They are available with RCA terminations or XLR terminations using Purist Audio Design’s gold RCAs or 3-pole gold XLR connectors. Available lengths start at 1.0 M (3.3 Ft.) and increase by 0.5 M (1.6 Ft.) lengths. The Musaeus analog interconnects are directional, and the arrows indicate the direction of the signal.
Speaker Cables & Jumpers
Musaeus speaker cables are masterfully crafted to exacting standards! They are fashioned using 10 AWG pure copper continuous cast and surrounded by Purist Audio Design's proprietary Ferox® dampening material. The Musaeus speaker cables can be ordered in a standard speaker or bi-wire configuration. The speaker cables come in a stereo pair, one left cable and one right cable. The speaker cables are available with Purist Audio Design’s interchangeable spades or bananas. They can be changed out, easily, by unscrewing one and screwing on the desired tip. Additional tips can be ordered. Available lengths start at 1.5 M (4.9 Ft.) and increase by 0.5 M (1.6 Ft.) lengths. In addition to the length, the Corvus speaker cables have 15 CM (5.9”) leads on both the amp and speaker ends for easier connection.
Musaeus Jumpers are also available in 20 CM (7.9") lengths with spades or bananas.
Power Cables
Musaeus power cables are masterfully crafted to exacting standards! They are fashioned using 14 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors. They make an economical replacement for a system's factory-provided power cord. The Musaeus power cables are available with Wattgate Cu plugs and connectors in US and Schuko styles with 15A or 20A. The available lengths start at 1.0 M (3.3 Ft.) and increase by 0.5 M (1.6 Ft.) lengths.
